Here you’ll find a selection of some my work.

I enjoy turning freshly cut wood to find out what is locked up in a piece of the wood! No two pieces are ever the same.

What I really enjoy the most and get the most satisfaction from is Segmented Turning! The process where you take perfectly good, flat pieces of wood and cut them into little bitty pieces , glue them together into rings, flatten the rings then glue the rings together to form the shape of the bowl or vessel designed then turn to finished product! Wow! That's exhausting just describing it but OH! So! satisfying once its done!!!
Most recently though I have been trying my hand at a technique called 'Basket Illusion' which involves turning a vessel as usual then cutting and burning horizontal and vertical lines on the piece and when completed with that step, ink or other coloring is applied to the resulting squares/rectangles to form your desired design!

Click on each link below for more of that type of turning!

Thanks for looking!
